Elections of the Kaska Dena Council Executive took place at the annual General Assembly on July 26, 2016, in Kwadacha (Fort Ware).

The annual General Assembly took place on July 26–28, 2016, hosted by Kwadacha Nation in Kwadacha (Fort Ware). The theme this year was “Reinstating Our Inherent Authority Over Our Lands”.
