The Kaska Dena Council General Assembly is hosted each year by either Daylu Dena Council, Dease River First Nation, or Kwadacha Nation in their community on a rotational basis. The General Assembly is a time for Kaska Dena Council to report out to its members with respect to important initiatives and news, time to connect with family and friends, celebration of our culture, and enjoying fun activities together.
This year, due to COVID-19 and our efforts to keep our communities safe, the Kaska Dena Council Board of Directors has made the decision not to hold a General Assembly gathering this summer. It was planned to be hosted this year by Dease River First Nation at Rapid River, however with the best interest of our members and in particular, our most vulnerable in mind, the difficult decision was made to cancel this year’s General Assembly gathering.
