Kaska Dena Council’s submitted photo won 2nd Place in the BC Treaty Commission’s Summer 2015 Photo Contest with a beautiful image of the Kaska Dena Traditional Territory.
Earlier this summer the BC Treaty Commission held its first photo contest. Nations in advanced treaty negotiations were asked to submit photos showcasing their communities and traditional territories. The photos are now included in a photo bank that BCTC will use for publications, web and social media.
