Kaska Dena Council
A resolution was signed at the November 2022 KDC Board of Directors meeting in Victoria, BC, to dissolve KDC as a Society and begin the process of establishing a Kaska Reconciliation organization that will address the collective needs of the Kaska Nation. In May 2023, at a special meeting held for members of Kaska Dena Council, a resolution was passed by the members agreeing to the dissolution of Kaska Dena Council as a Society.
The process has begun to dissolve Kaska Dena Council in accordance with the KDC Bylaws and BC Societies Act. Notification will be posted to this website as to when the Kaska Dena Council has been officially dissolved.
