Lower Post Devastated by Flooding. Press Release

LOWER POST, BC – June 10, 2012 – The First Nation community of Lower Post, BC located 25 km south of Watson Lake, Yukon is in a state of emergency.

On Saturday June 8 at 8:00 a.m. the first group of residents living along the Liard River were evacuated due to extreme flooding and the potential for breaching of the berm.
